My Day Off

Yesterday I had a very busy day off school. I had a lot of homework so I did homework for a really long time. After I finished my homework, I listened to music for a little while. After I listened to music, I got ready and everything. I had to go to church last night. I ate dinner and then I went to church. Church is from 6:15 until 7:45. When church was over, I went to get ice cream. Once I got home, it was around 8:30. I put all of my homework away and got everything ready that I needed to bring to school today. Even though we didn't have school, I still had a very busy day.

Earth Day

There are many things that can be done to help our planet. I try to help the planet as much as I can . My family recycles paper,cardboard,plastic, and aluminum.I never litter or throw things outside or on the ground, I always throw my trash or things in the trashcan. Many people throw stuff out their windows and then it lays in the road for a long time. I also try my best not to waste paper if it isn't necessary. There is also a lot of pollution. Some cars or trucks put out a lot of black smoke, which is very bad for our planet, us, and the animals. Our planet needs help and we should do our best to try to keep the planet a clean and safe place to live. 

Traveling

I would like to travel to many places. I would really like to travel to Africa. I think it would be cool to visit Africa for many reasons. One reason it would be cool is because their culture and ways of life are totally different than ours. I think it would be fascinating to see how other countries do things according to their culture. I would also like to visit Africa to help the starving and the people that have a sickness or disease. I would feel really good if I could help them. At my church, people came to talk about the problem they have with malaria. It is carried by mosquitoes. They said that if you took a medicine bottle and filled it full of quarters, that would be enough to buy a net. The net is used while sleeping to protect them from the mosquitoes, so they couldn't bite them and get the diease.

Rewards

The type of rewards that really motivate me are ones that actually have an effect. I would rather have a reward of something actually beneficial. For example, I would rather have something school related rather than a piece of candy. I would like bonus points, AR points, homework pass, and so on. Those type of rewards would motivate me more because you can't really get them any other way than earning them. You can buy candy and little toys at the store. I would also rather have stuff like that because some little things you get, most people would play with them for a few minutes, then never touch them again. For little kids, they would probably rather have little toys or games, but things that will help me are what motivates me.

Easter Break

Easter Break is going to be very busy. On Friday I am going to my grandma's house and we are going to dye Easter eggs with my little cousins. After we finish dying Easter eggs, we are going to go shopping. On Saturday we are going to my cousins' birthday parties. On Easter, we are going to my grandma's house. Every holiday one of my aunts has a gathering at their house. My grandma always has Easter. All of my family will come and we will have an Easter egg hunt for all of my little cousins. This Easter break will be really fun, but also busy.
